Studying

Once you succesfully log into the Online Classroom (also known as Moodle), you will be presented with the Dashboard which has a list of all your Enrolled Subjects. Click on any of your Enrolled Subjects to start studying.

Student Dashboard

Every Subject has 10 Studies, and each Study has its Notes and Quiz.

  • Notes is the content that you need to learn and understand.
  • Quiz is the self-paced test that you can do (as many times as you like) to check your learning.

Student Course Content

Quizzes do not contribute to your final grade; however, they are very useful for your learning, and the same questions are used in the Final Exam.

Attention

Some Providers have made Quizzes mandatory for their Students to complete a Subject.

Please read the instructions in your Online Classroom or check with your Administrator or Teacher.

Some Subjects have extra content beyond the Notes and Quizzes. These supplementary resources are helpful for learning but are not assessable.

Assessments

At the end of your time of study, you will do a Final Exam to pass the Subject. The Final Exam is comprised of 60 multiple choice questions. The questions are drawn from the Quizzes, so it is important to do the Quizzes as you study the Subject.

The Final Exam comes in 2 formats: Online and Paper-Based.

  • Final Exam - Online is usually done online, in the Online Classroom, by yourself.
  • Final Exam - Paper Based is usually done in a physical classroom, administered by your Administrator or Teacher, with your classmates.

Student Assessments

You will do one of the Final Exams - either Online or Paper-Based - not both.

Usually, if you study online, then your Final Exam will be Online. If you study in a classroom with your teacher and other students, then your Final Exam will be Paper-based.

If you are unsure, please check which format is your Final Exam with your Administrator or Teacher.

Please check the date of your Final Exam with your Administrator or Teacher.

Attention

Some Providers have Additional Assessments before their Students can complete a Subject.

Please read the instructions in your Online Classroom or check with your Administrator or Teacher.
