Repeat Student Enrolments (STARTING FROM 4th of April)
If Students want to repeat a Subject (most likely because they failed in the Final Exam in their first attempt) you must:
- FIRST, make sure their first/existing Enrolment is closed (Refer to Administrator :: Closing Student Enrolments),
- SECOND, ask the Students to apply for enrolment in the Subject again as an Existing Student (Refer to Student :: Apply for enrolment in a Subject),
- THIRD, accept the second/repeat application as per usual (Refer to Administrator :: Process Student Enrolments),
- FINALLY, delete their previous Final Exam attempt BEFORE they attempt the exam for a second/subsequent time (Refer to Teacher :: Administer Final Exam - Online :: Exceptional Circumstances)
Important
Closing the first/existing (failed) attempt is important. This will keep a record of the first/existing (failed) attempt in SIS, including the Grade achieved in that attempt.
Then the second/repeat application for the Subject - once accepted by you - will create a new enrolment record in the Enrolments
Table. The Grade achieved in this second/repeat attempt will be then be stored in this new enrolment record, and won't overwrite the first attempt. This is important to keep track of the Student's progress
